TV On Your Satnav

Enjoy navigation for all the senses with the NAVIGON 8410!

Real City3D, a world first, shows you reality in a novel, true-to-detail display. This makes orientation in many of Europe’s large cities even easier than ever with realistic 3D views.

But the NAVIGON 8410 also sets new standards in terms of operability: the sensitive surface made from genuine glass reacts to the lightest touch of the fingertips, and with Voice Interaction Pro you can operate all important functions using your voice. And even if you’re unlikely to get stuck in a traffic jam thanks to the intelligent TMC package, the media package in the NAVIGON 8410 makes even gridlock into a pleasant experience.

Just one of the latest Satnavs which offer TV as part of the package.

No need to miss that episode of Neighbours while you are driving through the contraflow on the M25 then.

Is it legal

My mate has TV built into the SatNav on his MG ZT but it only works if the vehicle is stationary and I imagine any SatNav which displays TV will do the same.

All these sat navs about any one got any cheap AtoZs.

All these sat navs about any one got any cheap AtoZs.

C’mon Phil time to take some more happy pills and we can remenisce about the old days when we could read an A-Z going along instead of having to stop, put the cab light and your glasses on! Joking aside, i suppose it wont be long before vosa starts issuing fines to drivers for having a sat nav on whilst driving, especially if it restricts his driving view.

An Association of Chief Police Officers spokeswoman said: “Driving while using an iPod falls into the category of not being in proper control of a vehicle.

“This includes all forms of technological equipment, such as a sat nav, which can distract drivers.”
