I know this has been asked before, but the answers i have found were not very helpful. I want to fit a 19" tv and wondered how others have done it? Truck is a 57 reg hi line. Thinking of using the coat hooks or there mountings? anybody done a diy job or is there a bracket available which does not cost the earth!!
I did mine in my scania (12 plate r cab) via a piece of plyboard (10mm thick) with 2 holes drilled in the top and then I tied it up to the coat hooks with a large shoe lace but I made sure I wedge it up behind the bed end and then put some packaging both sides of it to stop it moving, then I brought a £5 tv wall bracket and fixed that to the plyboard (it wasn’t brill but it did the job)
with regards to the shoelace I tied under the bracket so it was very tight…hth

It seems a re think may be needed! New trucks start arriving this month. Will wait and see if I get one soon and look at fitting it in to the MAN’s we are getting!
