Am going to buy a laptop for my ‘travels’. Have seen tv tuners to turn a laptop into a tv, But they are analogue. Would be a waste of money since analogue is going to be turned off. Does anyone know if there are digital tuners available. Have looked ,but can’t see any. Have i been looking in the wrong places. Thanks.
There are definately ‘digital TV’ tuner cards available for laptops; cost loads more than analogue though (funny old thing!).

I have a Hauppauge WinTV NOVA USB, Works excellent with my laptop.
analogue turn off wont fully happen til 2012 with digital you need a vey good signal so buy a new ariel as well…yes i know about the tiny village in wales were they have no analogue

Analogue is actually being phased out with the last switch off in 2012. HTV region go to digital within the next couple of years. So depending on where you are you may not get an analogue signal from next year!!!
