Recently changed my telly to a digital only model, have been using one of the “magic circle” aerials but reception seems a bit patchy, any recommendations for a not to expensive decent aerial?
You can get ones that stick magneticaly to the outside of the wagon and the door can be shut with the cable passing through it. These seem to offer good reception, I think it may have something to do with the wagon conducting some of the signal but I could be wrong. that’s a temporary solution and you take it off when driving. I’m sure theres some on ebay. If you want a more permanent solution you could fix one to the roof of the unit behind the wind kit, the ones that look like a little disc, these a permanent so you’d need to check with your gaffer if he minds you drilling holes in his wagon, i’m sure these provide best reception and can be bought from ebay. If you want to go large, get a portable satellite dish!

Basically it’s only going to give you good recption if it’s attached to the outside of the wagon…
