Turning your wireless router off

Been away for a couple of days; to deepest, darkest Kent. Switched my wireless router off before we left. Old school maybe, but I don’t like the thought of electrical currents passing through my house whilst I’m away. Anyways. Gets back. Powers up the router and [shocked, slightly disappointed face], NO INTERWEBZ. An hour on the phone to Sky and they’re sending an engineer out. Anybody else had this problem? I’m now having to use my mobile data connection, which where I live, is only slightly better than the completely non-existent service available in Kent.

Had the same happen with ours. Switch the router off for a few minutes, then back on. Just re-boot your computer and give it time to pull the signal through.

Sod the router, I’d be more worried about the defrosted food in the freezer! You did switch the freezer off didn’t you?

Oh ■■■■■■■■. I haven’t been in the kitchen yet. :open_mouth:
