Hi, anyone worked or working for Turners as I have an interview with them next week for a new contract (Murco) starting in May & I just wanted a heads up before the interview. I also have an interview with Flowgas(bulk tanker) on Monday & was going to take the better 1 providing I’m successful of course!! Thanks.
As with any interview, make sure you nail your 30 second commercial. This is when they ask you to tell them about yourself. Never mind who its for, just make sure you know about the company your going to work for, what they do where they do it why they do it, all that good stuff. they will ask you easy questions but there will be a hard one to prep for as well. usually why they should hire you, or they have loads of applicants etc , why you think you should be picked ahead of them. stay calm dont stutter and be honest. They may ask why you are leaving your last job. Be honest. When answering general questions about why you want this job, try and match your answer to what they are looking for. e,g if they say someone who is reliable, say you are a reliable person. easy score. Not teaching you to ■■■■ eggs fella but hopefully you get the jist. being selected for an interview is a big bonus. One step in. Good luck.
