Now I don’t often do this but on Wednesday 11/02 I was travelling along the A14 eastbound and passing the A12 on slip when a Turners driver coming down the onslip deceided I was in his way and tried to force me over to let him on. As fate would have it I had missed him early on and his aggresive behaviour to try and join was greated with the same amount of aggresive behaviour by me holding him off as traffic was too thick for me to get out into the outer lane.
Yes my bad I should have moved over earlier as regardless of the highway code I do like to help other damsels out a bit. Anyway he eventually joined the A14 behind me then chose to issue a flanking manover by crossing into my lane to put the freighteners on me. Fair do’s I expected this and waved my hand to apologise as he came past (he probably missed this as it was fairly dark).
Anyway as luck would have it he pulled into Orwell as I had to also due to being early for my VBS.
As I don’t like to hold a grudge I parked by him and went to his cab to apologise and maybe make a freind. Unfortunately he misstock his for an aggresive act and locked his door and held both hands up in fear (I’m guessing) and refused to look at me and then shortly after drove off.
So this is just an apology really and just maybe for those truckers out there who like to give it the bigun on the road I will follow you even if just to apologise.
