Does anybody know why my TT Go530 isnt transfering the names to go with the phone numbers when my TT “retrieves” them from the phone?
When I first got the TT it transfered all the numbers and they had names alongside them but now it just transfers all the numbers and as you can guess i dont know what half the numbers are as you dont memorise them like we used to do.
Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can sort it out?

painful maybe but try doing a factory reset ,it may solve the problem.
my 520 plays music over cab radio but not voice instructions. something to do with an eu ruling about “transmitting silence on fm” so it seems tomtom may have disabled it. (i read that on another forum so can;t vouch for it)
I find it easier to manually update my contacts.
You need to access your TT via the pc, find the contacts folder, and open the contacts file in it with notepad.
The entries should be like this:
“Transport”,“07777123456”,“CELL”
“Transport”,“01484000000”,“DEFAULT”
“Home”,“01484000001”,“DEFAULT”
“Her Indoors”,“01484000003”,“WORK”
Just make sure all the quotes and commas are in place, save and close.
