really long shot this, but here goes…
trying to get hold of a couple of driver who used to work for MRS, delivering to the northern branches of oddbins (and others, but i can’t remember what)
i only ever knew his first name - john - but he was affectionately know as ‘little john’ due to his slight lack of height. he has a strong lancashire (bolton?) accent, was into his 4x4s - had a suzuki SJ plaything - and left MRS to drive for dorooy for a bit, but then i think returned.
he delivered to oddbins regularly while i worked there driving trannys, and he gave me loads of encouragement to go for my HGV licence
