Trying To Find Work in Chester/North Wales Area

Hi,

I have recently passed my Class 2 test and got my licence and CPC card back a few weeks back. I have just finished four years of bus driving and decided I wanted to try something different.

I have signed up to a agency but they only seem to want to give me work if I go self-employed with them. I have applied at a couple of local firms and I am now waiting to hear back from them.

Do any of the guys on here have any good tips for securing my first Class 2 job ?

My Mate got on at Alan skip hire they have depots in wrexham and chester they take on newly passed

I’ve sent of some CV’s via e-mail and on Monday I’m going around the local companies with my CV,has anyone had success by doing that ?
