No cheating or googling please.I failed miserably with this,so I’m no Einstein :laughing: Well,he may have got his theory of relativity wrong.But anyway have a go at this.

You are in a cell with only two doors and no other way out.One door leads to freedom,the other leads to death.The doors are identical and each door has a guard.One guard always tells the truth,one guard always tells lies.You are allowed one question(not one question to each guard) which will enable you to determine which door is which.

Old as hell that riddle, just ask the one guard ‘What would your mate say if I asked which was the door to freedom’ then go thru the opposite door :grimacing:

That’s what you have to work out, the question is the answer to the riddle. What is the one question you can ask that will enable you to gain your freedom

Sorry, I should have posted to say that bubsy06 was absolutely correct.bigvern1 was well on the way,but didn’t complete the answer to tell us which door would be the logical choice.They both got it far too quickly :frowning: :smiley: :smiley:

Well it is many years old so a lot of people wouldn’t even need to think about it and would already know the answer.
