I mean 12 years of not conserving anything other than their own pockets can’t be a shock to any of us ROG they are all in it for themselves, not us. At least we did not get Sunak the bankers pal with billions already in his banks and portfolios .They are all the same though IMO ■■■■■
Out of this pair of clowns i’m relieved Fishy lost, not because i imagine for one second that Truss will be anything more than just another pointless tory pm from the pointless tory pm production line overseeing the final destruction and ruination of the country, but i’m glad that fishy who lacked the decency to stand up and say NO to the destruction of lockdowns and instead agreed to printing some £500billion of borrowed (from whom exactly?) monopoly money whilst apparently 
knowing deep in his heart this was wrong, yeah right.
What he or she said is immaterial, they along with those who interviewed them ignored all the elephants in the room, its not what they say in their prepared speeches its what they don’t say that one should be paying attention to.

On Sunday, she claimed “it is fair” to give higher earners more money back through tax cuts. “To look at everything through the lens of redistribution I believe is wrong because what I’m about is about growing the economy and growing the economy benefits everybody,” she told the BBC. Treasury sources have also told i she is considering boosting the take home pay of the UK’s highest 10 per cent of earners with a tax cut that could see the basic rate threshold rise to £80,000. This would mean cancelling Rishi Sunak’s freezing of the 40 per cent tax threshold at £50,270 and raising it by around £30,000. That would see around three million people no longer paying higher rate tax, saving them an average of about £3,000 a year. Someone on £80k would save £6k a year.

But realistically, can you think of anybody earning around £80000, to really benefit from this…

If Truss succeeds in crashing inflation back down to <5% by Christmas, then we’ll still have a recession coming - except it’ll be a deflationary slump, rather than the runaway stagflation being spoken of in the media.
During Deflation - money increases in value, rather than shrinks… But less people have any.
BUT… If you’ve been spending all your savings, thinking it won’t buy a box of matches next year - then silly you who are now skinto, and NO sunak’s handouts to now fall back upon…
