If you go there from the mainland in a truck the hours rules will apply. Drivers who only work on the island won’t be covered by the rules.

I would not want to drive a HGV there as the roads are very, very narrow. Transit pickup was big enough.

There are big restrictions on the size and weight of vehicles. Most HGV`s are banned or can only drive on the “Harbours Route”

Caravans are Banned. Yep!!!

I’d guess that - if you only ever drove your hgv on the island, you would be within the requirements for domestic rules. In fact, it would be fairly difficult to go outside the domestic rules.
