well fellas
I finally took the plunge and instead of laybys and the occasional MSA stayed at the stockyard tonight. if this is an example of truckstops i think the laybys are out of the window from now on (gaffer wont pay for parking and we can stay where we want) i think the £9 charge is well worth the OAP karaoke that is still going on.
thank god for a few pints(cheaper than my local SHHHHH)

all in all a good night and very reasonably priced

ps if this place is not indicative of truckstops in general please let me know so i dont bother in future

I always found J29 truckstop pretty good.

Although if you are a bit later arriving, it can be fun finding a spot, but as I am only class 2, I can pop it into a space the big rigs cant get into.

Last time I was there, it was £9 to park and the food and bar is very good too.
