Truckstops/parking areas

jimti:
For Germany I like Sinsheim, and Pfaffenhofen but any Autohof is ok
For Belgium i like Lokeren, also I often park in the village of Overisje near Brussels
For France, Macon is ok for weekends, but most small routiers on a week day
For Spain, Cambrils, Vicktors and Freds in Coslada, but most Hostels on the national roads are good value for money.
for Portugal the “truckstop” at Pombal on the IC 1 or the Town hall car park at Albufeira
For Italy Carisio
For Holland, Asten
For Switzerland, Muttenz or Port Franc

Muttenz is getting full of Poles and Eastern Europeans Now, especially towards the end of the Month when there quota of work runs out. Last month there were 12 of them parked there for 9 days until the start of May.

Got to agree Keith, junction 27 is far superior to Habay but I fear you have let the secret out of the bag.

I agree j27 is a lot better.

But surely he has not let nothing out of the bag.
BECAUSE;

Not many people are going abroad.
e.g. Anyone passed by Birds depot recently and seen how much is parked up.■■?

nothing wrong with the beer and food in habay.
i never knew about the other truckstop.

as for birds.i have noticed that as well.
a lot of them parked in the yard as you go down the m5

I was in Habay for the last Bank (1st May)Holiday, and i have to say it seems to have improved. The food was excellent, and there was a distinct lack of Brits in there too, which is always a bonus.Showers were still as cramped as ever though.
