Truckstop shops Scotland

Hi Guys

Is there any Truckstops with Shops selling Truck accessories in Scotland i need a new Cool Box?

Thanks

Richard

The MSAs usually have some stuff,or you could ask some of the guys who are parked up for advice.

Surely it must be wind up day? Why get ripped off with over inflated prices at a truckstop when you can buy far cheaper elsewhere?

^^ Yep
You can get them starting at £40 in Halfords. But if you’d prefer to pay £200 for the same size from an MSA then crack on. Wouldnt be me.

If you care to go digging thru the skips at Elgin refuse centre you might find mine I inadvertently threw out the other day !! ( 'kin idiot ), but you can have it for free if you find it :frowning:

halfords…cheap and cheerfull…if someone was to write a blook listing truckshops in scotland,it would be listing about as much as the italian book of war heroes… :unamused: .even ireland has a few and were still living in 1980 here.

I’m sure CDC used to have a shop in Inverness truckstop. Not sure if its still there or not. Its the only one I can think of in Scotland.

Aldi were selling cheap but useful coolboxes few weeks back, there are plenty of them in Scotland.
Or have you tried Maplins?

wouldn’t that truckstop shop be in England and not Scotland as requested

I popped into Lesmahagow the other week, plenty of stuff in their shop!

Stracathro services seems to have plenty on offer for the truckers…

Yeah. It if you go to a “shop” it’ll have half a decent price tag and maybe a warranty.

Instead! If you go to a cool truckstop, it’ll come packaged in 1980s blow moulded plastic, and have that nice dated fake chrome effect on it and a “trucker” logo/ picture of a 1978 Kenworth/picture of Michelin man/tyre mark effect. You know you’re getting quality then. Der!
