Im happy with the communist ■■■■■■■ whores business plan :grimacing:

Good, things are looking up

Goldfinger:
A ‘co-operative’ haulage company??

Seriously though, would it / could it really work?

Farmers do it between them, sharing machinery, working with - not against each other.

Everyone one here knows how it could/should be done, where and what needs changed and/or improved, ‘what vehicles to purchase’ :unamused:

This thread should be changed to a poll, to really see who would be in and out??

Why wouldn’t it work?
Just think about it: you could have better staff retention and genuinely positive attitudes towards the business.
The profits would be going back into the company and paid out in dividends to people who actually do the work and not stock market speculators. Would drivers cut each others throats so much in a business where everyone stood to profit from each other’s success? Wouldn’t the workforce be more motivated? Everyone would also have a vote in important decisions about the business at AGM’s.

iv`e thought about that one…because everyone would earn the same decent, but not extravagant wage,no matter what position they held in our organization…there would be no fat cats taking millions out of the company

So it’s communist transport then? :stuck_out_tongue:

You could have a co-operative business if you were all willing to buy a share each.

So it’s Stobart’s OD scheme by another name now?

I have ordered my big chair from IKEA. Get in!

Who has the dosh for financing this venture as in financial standing etc

A peanut magnate perhaps? :open_mouth:

We could all go on Dragon’s Den.

I’m out closes notepad and puts pen down

I hope this helps.

I haven’t really bought a chair. I want nothing to do with it. This helps everyone.

Commonrail daft ideas are always best; this one could be another one that could TRIUMPH,

It gets my vote if it goes to a vote & also a few quid if needed.

How many members would be prepared to take it serious & how much should we chip in

Think its time to go to a vote

50p and an empty crisp packet

Truth is, I don’t have the dosh so I’m out.

I have no idea why a co-op couldn’t work in haulage.
I’d just be surprised if it’s never been done.
Ideally everyone would have an equal share imho as it’s more democratic that way.

yes a co op just like the pallet movers and parcel boys, who on here looks like hilary duvey?
