Trucknet porn BBC 9pm Weds 5th Dec

Heres a program to get the trucknet masses all hot, bothered and red in the face.

War on Britains roads

A documentary on the conflicts with cyclists

:grimacing:

Contains strong language and upsetting scenes.

As a keen cyclist myself and from what I’m hearing on cycle forums this programe doesn’t do the cyclists any favours, but then its just about London and not the National issue about sharing the roads.

Special prize to first poster who writes" they don’t even pay road tax"

Indeed it is… It’s your very own bicycle and lycra hugger shorts. Enjoy.

In the last 10 days I came very close to colliding with 2 cyclists. One was on a quietish road and I was turning right. The other on a main road, I was turning left onto it. The latter would have received serious injuries if we had met.

Why? No lights on and your usual dark clothing (not that bright clothes would have helped in either case).

Case and rested.

Probably something to do with men/women in lycra gyrating there hips in a circular motion while looking vaughley in the doggie postion with a big piece of hard steel between there legs? :unamused:

Just wait and see how excitable these lot get over a cycle thread

Who’s vaughley

A mother who lost her cyclist daughter in a fatal collision with a cement mixer tells us the extraordinary story of what she did to change cycle safety on our roads

what’s the betting she’ll whinge on about a mad raving trucker, who went out of his way to kill her daughter… :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp:

i’m not gonna watch it, as i’ll probley chuck something at the telly and break it… :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

a lot of cyclists i’ve seen now have those “flashing” rear and front lights, much more visable and safer in my opinion. but still get the ones with no lights on :exclamation:

It upsets me when I see them ride straight across the crossroads against a red light, thinking everyone has to give way for them by law.
“Spirit” and “Letter” spring to mind here.

Never mind your lycra, a short flouncy skirt is the way forward. I used to go to Kortrijk in Belgium twice a week, and every day at 3pm, during the summer months outside the factory i was loading from, a very agreeable looking lady would cycle by in a short flouncy skirt. Workers would arrange their breaks so they’d be outside having a ■■■ as she gave a glimpse of her knickers with every pedal rotation. My God, the near misses that occurred as oncoming drivers had their attention diverted.

She was bloody smart though…

Made ya look at this thread didn’t it? :stuck_out_tongue:

For those who can’t be bothered to watch…

Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Both sides guilty.

Go on then wots second prize for slagging cyclists ? my pet hate…and you all see it everyday , parked cars on the road you spot the guy on his bike does he look behind him before going round parked cars…does he bollox they just presume you know there every move well i do ! i have bet with the wife watch this ■■■■■■ staight out in front of you never looks…just presumes he’s invisible…but when you pip the horn at them its you that gets the fingers…makes my ■■■■ boil .

What a prick that posh 4 eyed knob is thinking it’s ok to ride a push bike in the middle of the road what a (zb) he is, and yeah i hope someone does stick his camera where the sun don’t shine, the gobby prick

Company i work for Rhys davies has several clips of the lorries delivering in london as police chase cyclist red light jumpers.

Cyclists in London CAN be a nightmare, and I agree that the police should ticket those that jump lights etc.

But they can sometimes be their own worse enemy.

Ken.

Just watched it from start to finish and to be honest we came out of it better than I thought. I expected it to be us portrayed as thickos who ride rough shod over the rights of the poor cyclists.
But it was more a slagging of car drivers and cyclists.

Slightly different - you should have seen this copper go in Victoria!
