Trucknet CSI

Let’s hope the drivers make a full recovery, it’s got to be asked, to make that bullseye hole in the windscreen, is that something like a tv or microwave that wasn’t secured properly in the cab to be propelled in the collision or the driver not wearing the seat belt.

A mate was involved in an accident when a truck pulled out immediately in front of him and he struck the rear quarter of it. He was injured when a small fridge on the top bunk shot forward and struck his head. He needed a few stiches in it.

Didn’t save the windscreen though.

Merve the Swerve from Bath turned over his lorry on a Portuguese round trip to get a nasty head injury from the loose ratchet straps stored inside the cab.

When drivers used to change their own blow out tyres,we would have the wheel brace’s, bottle jacks and tools loose in the cab if the side storage lockers were full up with food.

Remember the long scaffolding pole to get rusty wheel nuts loose.

A Portuguese couple who always drove with no seat belts learnt the hard way in a collision with a lorry, as a passenger she put her arms out to protect herself on impact.

She went through the windscreen and as the cab was demounted from the chassis she lost her arm as the sun visor at the top of the windscreen chopped it off.

Is that how Merve got his nickname?! LOL

Poor old Merve, maybe he was avoiding an animal in the road when he overturned.

As I seem to remember it, Merve rolled trucks at least twice.
In the same place.

Both times just down the road from The Vigilana (Vigilante) and both times in the early hours of New Years Day.

The nick name was well suited.

I think Merve needs to ‘swerve’ away from doing any work over the Christmas holidays! It seems a very inauspicious time for him to say the least!
