Anyone read this book? I had it as a gift today, and I’ve just finished reading it. It’s brilliant.
Keep an eye out for it.

Sorry but that wasn’t me. Seems there’s another Gaz Hunter…one a little smarter than me, in that he arranged so that he was actually getting paid to get shot at, rather than doing it voluntarily…
I’m glad that you saw fit to confirm that. Lest I should fall deeper into depression knowing that apart from bedding young and beautiful free spirit hippies in the back of the truck (her name escapes me, I can remember the precise sentence such was the impact, but would have to dig the book out upstairs to get the name) whilst adventuring on the continent in the good old days of trucking, you also led another life as an SAS hero.
I enjoyed your book immensely, the format (a few pages per adventure) was perfect for the genre, I read most of it whilst standing on a cold loading bay at Waitrose Bracknell, over several days. I was more than a bit disappointed to reach the finish. More so, because the cold reality of this tedious job would once again smack me in the face everytime I reinserted the bookmark to close and move on.
The image of the smoking frenchmen, getting into the wrong side of the truck time after time then ending up in the drink, yet ■■■ still in mouth, was something that kept me grinning for days after reading it.
Good show old chap.
Ah, the delightful Echo, of less-than-sainted memory. I often wonder what happened to her
I’m glad you like the book. I was rather worried about its reception in trucking society
