when i saw the pic i thought the same thing the davis turner driver was from bristol .and on the way back he ran thru yugo with a woman driver on with davis turner .the scene where theyre all at the table having a beer is at opti transport in turkey a secure parking compound.he also runs back with a couple of owner drivers one in a red f12 globetrotter and another called fred in a scanny 142 a big guy ex hells angel from northampton.
malc at the end of the documentry it said he left cuz davis turner wanted to turn him straight back round and back to turkey.
It wasn’t the bloke driving the Daf which the documentary was centred around. He was called “H” and was from Bristol.
The bloke I think Little Al looks like was only talking to the camera for about 1 or 2 minutes. He was talking about getting hijacked by mafia and I’m sure he had a blue jacket on. He was in a cafe, or truckstop or something and there was a scouser with a denim jacket on talking about international driving getting into your blood too. (Shock horror, not stealing!!!)

Tell me about it Al, first ship I was on, the St. John of the South American Saint Line, one of the Chinamen from the galley came flying headfirst through the serving hatch closely followed by another one brandishing a meat cleaver.
Fortunately, as I was one of the deck gang and would have had to mop up the blood, he didn’t catch him - but not for the want of trying.
But I don’t like to talk about it.
