i dont think id dare take my eyes off the road never mind taking pictures driving round them!

NICE JUST LIKE SOME ROADS IN iTALY

I drove along that road in a car when on my holidays a couple of years ago, my wife was terrified, and wasn’t happy at all until we got back onto a decent road

Is true… But you drive them steady and with respect you dont have problems. I drove that same road today at 630 this mornin (when dark) much better you can see the incomming traffic its just that when fully frieghted you feel the roll more and you know there is nothing but a 500 meter drop but heh thats life i use this mountan road all year round so now its well… just normal  for me!

Hi Simon
Ive been living and driving L.G.V s here in the Canaries for over 4 years now, when i first started i thought just like the norm( brit holiday maker)but! ive got to take my hat off to the Canarian truckers cause they put 45 footers where…we would scratch only the head a lil!!! Not only thinkin how do i get in but how do i get this thing out with only a steep rise…or fall, and nothing but air to the left. Ive learnt a lot from thease guy s since being here and well (puta madre) to them.

When I visited by sail we had a trip to La Gomera and we arranged a bus ride round the island while we had some running repairs done after a force 9 :open_mouth:

Not sure what scared me most, the force 9 during the night or the coach trip around the mountain roads

The wind theres no control of here cause of the trade winds but the coach drivers :open_mouth: here are all from the Fernando Alonso school of motoring  :unamused: lol
