As i sit here it is bucketing it down, god knows what the grass be like with a bit more movement on it.

it’s weird that a THUNK member is only 500 yards away from me

Hiya …i’ve been to peterbourough show…the attraction is the show motors sell of a little cheeper,
you can maybe get 5k off the price on a van window. i went 8 years ago. i did a deal at 10.05 on the
saturday morning. then the van was locked up so no one was wandering in and out, i got a good deal.
some people just got to buy more cr… to fill their van with. belive me theres a lot of deals are done
over the weekend. i herd one dealer sold 35 vans one saturday, at £ 40k for the average van and
as much as 95k for a 6 wheeler thats more money then youll make in transport.

Absolutely, if you’re looking to buy a vehicle it makes good sense. Going to an event just to walk around eating overpriced food and danger- [zb] over somebody’s overdone overdraft eating Topline ain’t for me.

depending which forecast you read, it mite not be that bad this week… fingers crossed it dries up a bit, as i for one, am looking forward to it!!

the shows are all the same in my book , same questions , same problems ,the same deals that are on offer, cant you tell iam sick of them allready this year

i cant just understand why the dealers cant just keep the price reduced the rest of the year ,they think, so to make it cheaper , lets drive them for 3 hours from the north east to peterborough and reduce there cost ,

Wonder how much the farmer gets per vehicle pulled off…■■

IF, I was going to go, I’d ‘borrow’ my brothers tractor, take that down with me (with a mega big tow chain). Maybe make some £££ while I’m there too. :bulb:

I remember that year!

IIRC, £30 upwards per vehicle, depending on their size.

My brother was one of them with a tractor, lucky ■■■■ made a mint!

Since then, the council’s gone in and renewed the drainage…

Just had email from Live Promotions stating Truckfest won’t be cancelled. If you’re going you’ll need lots of extra cash for the tractor drivers!

i shouldnt imagine they would cancel it as they will have to refund all the money back, they would rather all the lorries were sat in a muddy field with no visitors than cancel.
