I actually won a ticket to attend on Mr Tozers site but gave it away. I might consider going to the South West one but Peterboro and the attendant traffic problems hold no interest for me
i’ll be there all weekend - in my truck.
i will be wandering about some of the time but if anyone would like to meet me then rikki chequer and barrie tozer both have my mobile number - it would be nice to put faces to names if possible, i have already met some people and would always like to say hello once more.
i’ll have my nameplate in the window (johnny) it’s a belgian type plate - white background with red surround and red letters, plain white R470 topline scania with a white grill and white window surround, you’ll be more likely to spot the extremely shiny polished alloys.

decisions, decisions, decisions since I dont have a ticket and driverhire havent given me a freebee do I ;
1.go to truckfest on the only day I got off - in the car?
2. go to truckfest on the only day I got off - on the motorbike, and avoid the traffic chaos?
3. get the bike out, and go for a regular sunday blast with some mates?
4. service the brakes on the car, as I need the car for work B/H monday am
5. have a relaxing day at home, go to the pub for lunch, contemplate going to driffield truckfest, then snooze the rest of the afternoon?
or 6. 3, 4, & 5
For those that do make it, we have a Private Members area on the Truck & Driver / TNUK stand…Just come and introduce yourself for free tea and coffee, plus seating and shelter if the weather breaks. If you get there quick enough, you might even get some beer before Rikki drinks it all… 
The stand itself is dead easy to find, we’re along by the arena dead opposite the Truckfest FM studio thingy…Just look for the T&D flags and our banners, plus the black Stralis on the corner of the stand - we have taste, don’t ya know.
We’re all set up and ready to go…See you tomorrow/Monday.

The slightly miserable person with me will be the wife, have to take her with me because
a. She makes me go shopping with her
