Truckfest 2005 , 1st and 2nd may

As I have posted before I shall be there with my Trucknet Polo shirt on so you know who to avoid. :unamused:

I WILL BE THERE GOOD DAY OUT FOR THE KIDS THEY LOVE IT

I’m still working on it (trying to pull a flanker through work!!).

I managed to get work to pay for my trip to the Hannover show, all expenses!! I’m not doing so well though with this one.

I even promised not to stay in the most expensive hotel I could find, I agreed not to fly First Class (just Business Class!) and i’ll drive myself in the hire car; you have to be a stubborn ■■■■ to work in ‘Budgets’!! :imp:

dont think so i might go to driffield.

im going taking the daughter with me as the wife dont like trucks or owt to do with them

I will be going and my brother has paid for the
tickets for my birthday which is on the 3rd may.

I will be at Peterborough as usual, so do come and see me at the LADY TRUCKERS CLUB stand, we are just up from the beer shed and almost opposite the Le Shuttle restuarant, A warm welcome is given to all . We have a lady member doing book signing, she has written 2 books about a lady setting out in the truck world, Volvo have sponsered her 2nd book so come to our stand and support her.

Our stand also incorporates the DRIVER AND FAMILIES HELP LINE, an organization thet helps both the driver and their families when the driver has been arrested both abroad & in the U.K

If you are a lady driver come and join us or visit our web site www,ladytruckersclub.freeservers.co.uk

Danneke ( Motorway Queen )

For her web site where you can buy both books

mothertrucker.co.uk/

The book is reviewed in T& D

As for Peterborough I am still deciding, I’d like to see the Redline stand etc, but I hate Truckfest.
It’s more Car drivers fest, than Truckfest.

I’ll be their on one of the two days on the JFD stand .

Cheers

Ian.

your right there buddy,
you see all these big fat blokes wearing volvo t shirts and the only volvo they have ever driven is a 240 estate at 40 mph on the motorway.
and the only trailer they have ever pulled is the £100 halfords special to the local dump.

I might go along to see what the fuss is about.

although i’ve lived various places all within 30 minutes of it for over 10 years now i’ve never ever been, not into flash custom trucks really and from what i’ve heard it’s more like a bank holiday tat market with a few trucks thrown in these days - correct me if i’m wrong?

Going to go to Haydock this year. Hope to see some of you there.

No stand this year…simply refuse to pay the extortionate amounts demanded by Live Promotions.

Rikki and myself are planning on being there, but I’ll be close to tipping by then…so it’s a little out of our hands… :open_mouth:

HI LUCY,

HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU, IF YOU DO MAKE IT TO PETERBOROUGH THERE WILL BE A COMFY CHAIR WAITING FOR YOU TO REST UP A WHILE, COULD EVEN HAVE A FOOT REST FOR YOU SO DO COME AND SAY HELLO. I AM ON STAND M 19. COULD EVEN FIND A SEAT FOR THE EXPECTING FATHER TO BE.
