Didn’t they used to make gearboxes?
Sounds awful i bet it would be non stop country and western. phone ins about rdcs the eastern europeans and Beverley Bell. Be asleep at the wheel in 10 minutes.
If it was only aimed at truckers, it wouldnt generate enough money through advertising alone, although advertising frilly curtains and other truck bling is not such a bad idea
It would be listened to by other motorists, providing the music was to a wide audience, and not leaned towards country music alone, Interviews would be interesting, keeping us up to date with legislation etc, having a Vosa hour, department for transport hour, DVLA hour etc etc, getting drivers to talk usual crap hour.
The money would be quite high to set up a station, so i would go down the route of asking nationwide stations to allow a spot, but doubt if they would agree, so that leaves the black market route, pirate african stations might agree for a price, so i dont seriously stand to hear a new station in my lifetime, unless radio London/Caroline started up again somewhere in the english channel.
trucknetfm ?
If fearne cotton is on In just a bra I’m up for it
Derf:
plus it would end up with every other show sponsored by Stobarts or other self-praising logistics firm. you’d end up with seeing discarded stereo’s every couple of hundred yards on the hard shoulder!
Once the “turning off the radio” DCPC module has been done you wouldn’t. DCPC saving your environment
.
I thought Talk Radio use to be good for the entertainment and cringe worthy moments.
Radio Stobarts - sounds great
Phone in competitions to name the new motor
Win a drive with a Stobart leg end, sorry legend
Listen to our plans to take over the world
True stories every day from our fabulous drivers, cream cakes anyone
Hang on, I am doing a shift there tomorrow…
