Truckcare products

good evening guys and gals-as the truck shows/fests are upon us,vehicles of all ages, shapes and sizes are proudly put on display in mint gleaming condition, where the effort of the owners is very clear to see.i am looking at setting a stall up at the fests with care products for vehicle paintwork, chrome, glass. angelwax is the name of the products which has taken off in a big way in the car market, including exports and so looking to trial the products on the heavies.wondered which products are commonly used amongst the owners and would anybody be willing to trial angelwax? (Edit:) PM for details of products

Send me the whole range and I’ll gladly trial them for you. :grimacing: :sunglasses:

I’d be more than happy for a range of samples (for testing purposes of course!) to use on my car… Using At F***se and CrC**m for most of my stuff atm but did fancy getting a bottle of AngelWax Corona, QED & Ti-22 a while back but discovered HydroCoat… Obviously keeping a few cars clean is similar to shining up a unit but on a larger scale! I do like a shiny car and have 2 of ours and a couple of friends cars to keep tiptop!

What a minter… nice motor that is

As for the products I think an all round dash cleaner/polish for inside the cab would be a winner…

Send some samples to my MIL; She spent 3 hours polishing her X5 yesterday. I know it’s a big motor but 3 hours? :open_mouth: I can wash (on rare occasions) a dirty tipper in about 20 minutes.

Take a look at Autosmart’s interior dressing it brings up the inside of my car very nicely.
Trim wizard for the exterior features and makes the faded black trims look like new. Tango is a hybrid of both these which can be used both inside & outside.

Is that Demon Shine stuff any good? It’s on offer a lot in supermarkets.
Microfibre cloths; Apart from doing wing mirrors I don’t see any difference on trim than an old bit of rag will do.
Disposable dashboard wipes; Boss bought some and I used one and found all it does is drag and smear existing dust amd dirt.
Silicone spray polish; Evil stuff, irritates your eyes and doesn’t repel dust, the dust just clings to it.

Fair play for getting that sort of finish, how long does it take? I couldn’t do it, I find simple car washing mind numbing to the point that I wish I hadn’t bought a new car in October. My Mrs is against putting it through the car wash (and I wont use immigrant hand washes) hence it’s been washed only 3 times since buying it.

With the summer upon us I take a more safety related point of view: to prevent dazzling reflections of bright sunlight I have a matt finish to all interior and exterior surfaces. Dirt for outside and dust for interior.

The Angel wax stuff I’ve used before on cars but I find getting regular supplies difficult

ill trial it mate, but try the smaller shows 1st makes it a little easier on the pocket  :grimacing:
