Does anyone know if there is a truck wash anywhere near the secc… Parked up here and really need to get this thing washed tomorrow as its filthy. I know there is one 20 km south of here nut was hopeing for something closer… Thanks

There is one a couple of minutes away from the secc on South St. I think its called the Rainbow Wash. Its behind the BP garage. Failing that, if Blantyre is on your travels, Thomas Young Transport has a drive through truck wash. I don’t know the prices for any of them though.

Thanks for the speedy replys lads… Yep just heard the rainbow wash is as tight as a nun to get the lorry in so its a toss up between the other two… Cheers

Very tight indeed. You need to squeeze between the canopy of said BP garage and a wall. Not a good idea in a high sider incase you get it wrong. Might end up like a looking like the pic of that Prestons Of Potto driver who demolished a forecourt canopy someone posted on here last week!!! 
Yepp ill head to one of the other ones… I know the one in blantyre you can pay in dkv so shes lookin like a winner to me… Have a highsider as concert lorry.

ive beeen in the Rainbow wash a few times, bit of a squeeze but not a problem. Quite a lot of TransAm go there if theyve got time to kill.
