not sure exactly what I’m looking for but I’ll try to explain and lets see if somebody has the answer .
Have Amazon prime on the phone and 100 gig of data each month . Problem is I find the screen a bit on the small side so I’m looking for some way to watch on a bigger screen - love the idea of the "smart tv " we have at home where I can link the phone up by bluetooth and watch on the big screen .
Anything like this available for the truck?
Phone is a Galaxy S6
Truck is a V4 Volvo
Let me know your ideas .
need something like this god knows where get one now maplins has gone.
then go to cashgenerators/cex exchange buy a cheap portable tv
phone goes one end then attach hdmi cable into other end and into a suitable tv
thanks for that - I thought I was overthinking it - turns out I was .
all you need really. then a cheap tv from cex etc or guessing an old pc monitor would do the trick long as it has an hd socket your in business.

with an HDMI cable and a double ended 3.5mm headfone jack to hook into the trucks speakers should be what I’m looking for .
Reading down the list on the adaptor on Amazon to where it says how to use your adaptor it says you have to connect your phone charger to supply power into it. To power the thing. It says usb cable may not supply enough power
If you look closely.at the pictures there’s a connection on side of the box that says power.
I have never used one so can’t comment really.
save sixty quid here…ebay is your friend…

Another suggestion. If featured on your phone, enable internet connection sharing. Might be called a hotspot. Then any Wi-Fi multimedia device should be able to watch it. In effect, turning your phone into a hub.
Oh, and if you do it, don’t forget to password it.

Do you think this would work with sky movies.I downloaded sky movies app on my tablet then downloaded films to tablet from sky. I then plug hdmi i lead
in to tablet the other end into tv press play and it would not play via lead.
Its being block because sky do something called multi room .
Why not just get a 21"tv with HDMI in, and get Amazon fire stick,.
This may be a good option for you. Can always add a firestick to it.
