Truck stop prague

I would personally stop at geisilwind. Always something going on at weekends ( bands, car shows, truck shows etc ). Everything you need on site, nature walk right behind site which I personally enjoy ( lots of birds of prey ) a theme park just down the rd and under the motorway into the village ( not much there really ). I can’t say about Erlangen as I’ve never been in. Geisilwind is a shift from Prague 4/4.5 hrs. If it was me I’d stop there then run in early Tuesday morning. Plenty of stopping places en route that have showers food beer etc. Choice is yours.

Thanks for that info, do you have the address or is it signed from the Autoroute,

From memory it is situated in a town called Tennenlohe which is between Erlangen
and Nuremberg and was signed from the Autoroute.
Agree with what has been said about Geiselwind, which will obvously leave you a bit further from Prague, depends on how far you want to run on the Tues.Have a good trip and watch out for the bridges and tramwires

Thanks for all the info, I now have a good idea about the area in which to spend Easter so I can have a think for a few day’s, at the moment a stop in D sounds good, unless the hotel comes back with a positive for letting me park there. Cheers and stay safe.

Thanks to all posts on this subject and especially Suedehead, I stopped as suggested at Erlangen Tennenlohe which was perfect for the 4 day wait, with the walks in the forest and a short bus ride into Nurenberg I was not bored,
