Truck satnav

Im think of buying a truck satnav…

Anyone know if the SNOOPER S2000 SYRIUS is any good?

Ive seen one for £234…

Wonder what the difference is between a S2000 and a S2000N?

The Snooper and the Pronav seem to get the best reviews but I’ve not used them myself

Have a look at this page and you should find something useful

I have the S900 which is the same as the s2000 but without the bluetooth, MP3 and TM functions. Its also cheaper!

The S900 seems very good but I have only used it for a couple of days. Testing its route planning for avoiding low bridges and weight limits on routes I know it is excellent.

Hope that helps.

Cheers all… think I will get a Snooper… will post a review about it when I get one

I’d avoid the new tomtom truck you can no longer put you’re own poi files on or transfer them easily to other devices.

After getting in a tangle coming out of nine elms dairy and ending up over tower bridge :open_mouth:  I’m looking at tomtom truck v2 software for my tomtom go 520 will it get round 9pm lorry ban times with this and
yes I know tower bridge is weight limited 24/7.

Isn’t support for this suppose to be added in an update?

It seems like a lot of money to spend in the hope they’ll give you access to your own machine.

I thought it had been confirmed though!!
