Being the race team I imagine it’s the last seasons truck. As Renault are the engine supplier for the Lotus team then as soon as the T range was available I imagine the race team were the first customer to get their mits on one.

That video will go viral, it will be all over the net, it will be on TV shows. That’s a lot of advertising for the cost of making the video and repairing some damage, which would be a lot less than actually paying for that amount of publicity.

Agreed, Look at Volvo’s recent advertising, they’ve been using You Tube and social media to promote their trucks to great effect, millions of hits on you tube and then reported in the trucking press, at a fraction of the cost of advertising in other media outlets.
Although I don’t think that was actually one of their race trailers, no lockers, and they’re normally quite heavily even before you put anything on them. probably an empty boxvan with side skirts etc and painted for the stunt. At least I hope it wasn’t this trailer.

Not sure if lotus had the T range, I know Sauber and obviously the Renault Engine trucks got them, but than as Lotus are going to Mercedes engines I should imagine they’ll be changing their trucks anyway, maybe they’ll also have Stobarts doing their transport.

They’re changing to Mercedes engines next year so the truck will be going back to Renault anyway
