Hi all,

Im trying to find places to rent a tractor and trailer for a weekend (28th - 31st May) in the Glasgow/Edinburgh area (Preferably Edinburgh).

I’ve went round all the usual (Ryder, TOM) but they only care if it’s a 6 month hire.

Im fuming and as a result I’d rather go for a company that has had a referal on here. Doesn’t matter what wagon as long as it’s a tractor unit and I can get a box trailer.

I know Gilmour Bro’s hire trailers out here but I’ve never really had to look in the past.

Any suggestions?

My company use dawsons rental , hornal road , uddingston. We rent out there if one of our units is off road for repair. I think they do trailers if they dont i know a garage who rents out trailers. No pretty ones mind but they’d pass an MOT. :wink:

Will try the one in Uddy. Had a look on Yell and Google but it’s all upto 7.5 wagons!
