the truck went on fire today and seamed like it was burning half the day !

I passed it coming down from Brechin this morning it was totally gutted traffic going north was tailed back for about 5 miles
BBC website says it was carrying bitumen, suppose that`s the reason it lasted as long.
mayhem through Perth in the morning, good effort by the driver getting to a layby and uncoupling by the looks of it

PS Ridgeway according to local rag, and the bosses were quoted in paper praising the driver for uncoupling the decker, i’m assuming it was a close couple.
If your trailer caught alight, would you bother with the legs, or just pull the pin, the suzis, and pull out?

New susies wing tops and light clusters probably cheaper than the insurance excess and the cabs got your gear in too most likely.
Only exception would be if the unit hasn’t got run up ramps to the fifth wheel as chances are the kingpin will catch on the rear chassis cross member.
