Honeslty that is incredible stuff, big up to the driver!

Well played, Driver… and a big well done to the passerby who had the presence of mind to stop the lorry to help…

You know, Dominoes does get there faster than the emergency services!

Respect to all that helped.

Agency driver■■?

Nuff respect any how :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Hi, I was the driver of the Domino’s truck another driver was involved too, we were double manned as I am new to the job and being trained up. We were on our way through Kidderminster and saw some smoke and a crowd ahead but the flames were nowhere near as big at that time as in the video.
My co driver had the prescence of mind to realise we may be needed here and jumped out to guide me forward, their was a big crowd in the road and as I approached i saw two people jump from an upstairs window to be caught by the crowd below even though i was seconds away from being underneath them. people were screaming that there were still people trapped up there so I got as close as I could. it was properly scary there was a big crowd all around the lorry and the flames were increasing, I relied on my co driver to guide me forward into position without hitting anyone.
I believe the man on top of the lorry in the video was a bystander who climbed up the side ladder to try to rescue the woman and child inside. I have seen some reports that say that someone jumped from a window onto the lorry but I’m not sure if this actually happened or not it may have been a false report due to the confusion.
shortly afterwards the fire brigade arrived and i was guided forward to give them access with people on the roof I tried to go slowly and smoothly but adrenalin got the better of me and they may have had a rough ride.
The Fire brigade pulled two people from the building one of whom was being given CPR for a long time before an ambulance arrived, I believe she is still alive but in a very serious position. all my hope that both she and her child make a full recovery.

Well yes I am actually, Agency but hoping to be taken on permanent, bit different to the office IT job I was doing less than a month ago. The other driver involved is full time Domino’s staff.

Well done:) Really well orchestrated, changing the way people may perceive us. Good on you buddy you’ve made us proud.

Really good job, well done. Keep up the good work. Proud of all of you comrades on the road:)
