Just been reading a couple of threads on here, diesel thieving, and O/night parking black spots etc, it’s getting to the stage now that nowhere is safe to park o/night, some of the places I used to park say 10to20 years ago I wouldn’t dream of today. Once over I used to be able to sleep right through but after a couple of incidents in recent times it’s got to the stage where I am wakening up if I hear any noise around my motor now. Even if you leave your back doors open all night (oooh matron! 
) the bar stewards still ■■■■■ your curtains. It’s at the stage now where it has to be seriously addressed by the Police, and recognised that a crime number is at the least not good enough, and at the worse ■■■■-poor policing. I’m sure I even read somewhere that Truck Pol has been disbanded, to fund the Police tractor unit no doubt 
, because the only “truck crime” they appear to concentrate on is the telephone/Mars bar/nose picking when driving thing. They could start at the habitual blackspots, the fact that most of US know not to park there would suggest that a high rissk of a crime is possible, therefore a good chance of catching some of these ■■■■ scrotes is there for them. It isn’t my intention to start a Police knocking thread, (even if I have already done so myself ) but to maybe suggest that if anybody is done over through night, to at least try and insist that things are taken further than a crime number and make a bit of noise at least.
Truck crime will only really get tackled when insurance companies refuse to insure a vehicle unless it’s parked in a secure area.
