A search and rescue operation is under way after a goods lorry crashed into a house in Fairlie, North Ayrshire, today, Strathclyde Fire and Rescue have said.

A 55-year-old woman has died after a large goods vehicle ploughed into a house in Main Street, Fairlie, North Ayrshire today, Strathclyde Police said.
