Are you superstitious? Would you buy a house with Number 13 on the door? Hotels and property developers often miss out the number, whether that be a house, room or a whole floor. Even Volvo seemed to be unsure about the FM13.
It seems like the decision is made, if you want a new vehicle early next year, then you will be having it on a 13 plate.
I go out of my way to back decent horses with the number 13, as my thinking is that “A good horse will have a price suggesting it isn’t any good, because hardened (but superstitious) punters avoid backing it”.
Essentially, you get a better price on a good horse. Such a price is exaggerated even more when backed on the tote in a large field handicap race, eg. 24+ runners.
The last two houses I bought, were because of the numbers, to some part of the decision
The last house that I bought, which is my last house, literally has a name which means a number…That number being the most luckiest number you could possibly have if you beleive in what I do.
So far, so bloody good
