trip time

Anyone know how long it will take from Dover to darly Ayrshire thanks

dalry…■■? 10hrs maybe…traffic dependent…maybe more

maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&gs … a=N&tab=wl

I’d say add few more hours on to that

You’ll do dover to killie in 9 and a bit through the night so dalry should be doable in a ten just about with no holdups/diversions. Through the day i doubt it most days.

@an average speed of 65kmh the 650km trip would take 10hrs driving, so with breaks 11.5hrs that’s a clear run, but depending on the top speed of the truck and of course how far from the m’way the address in darly Ayrshire is, It will be tight, We used to do preston to dover in around 6/7hrs drive time if we got a clear run

Seriously
I used to drive Oxford to Ayr (County town) and used 9 hours driving and that was a 65ft Scabia waggon and drag show trailer so very light. I think you need to add at least 2.5 hours to that and so will run into the next day. You will not do it in one day.

Just remember not to hit the bridge in dalry :grimacing:

Where you going op, DSM?

Going to Reid’s foodservice, now on 7hrs 39 with 180 kilometer to go

Bet you a pound you won’t do it (legally) 180km divided by 2 hours 21 minutes= approx 1.2 km per minute or around 50 mph (average)

Run Forest ! Run !

On a clear motorway yes, but Focus had about 50 miles of Scottish Country roads ahead of him, not to mention all the Haggis’s he would have had to dodge. Lol !

I got to Darly , followed the directions I was given only to finda road closed and a diversion . So parked up in a lay by in town before on 9hrs 58
