TRG and ADR ?

When you work for TRG or ADR are they self employed or do they have a umbrella company like driver hire who sort you tax and NI ?

Yes, they have an umbrella company and no PAYE option at the advertised rates. I enquired when they advertised for drivers “wanting to work nights and weekends” - only to get told when I got there it was 5x8 hours monday-friday 6am starts. Turns out the meaty hourly rates for the weekend work was only as OVERTIME to those base 40 hours.

f— that! :imp: - I want premium rates for weekends straight out of the gate! I didn’t leave full time just to get my hours dictated to that I happen to hate (earlies)…

If I’m agency, I want to pick and choose the hours and shifts I want to work. If I want regular hours, I’ll go back to full time thanks.
Full time lock-in with the insecurity of agency working and the expense of umbrella (£27 per payslip) is the worst of all possible worlds - at least for me…

PAYE has to meet health and Safety …maybe 35 % can so its a rosey future for draconian agencies .as mitigation for subversive management .not being specific
