Hello Truckers

Hi my name is Sebastian and I’m not truck driver :stuck_out_tongue: However on January or February I will start my way towards C+E. I got couple of questions if you can please answer them (Thank You).

1.Im 20 years old and I read that I need CPC before I start my training.
2.I plan to do ADR CPC (include 35 hours) This have to be done before training or after.
3.Its difficult to find Tunking at night at my age?
4.Can you recommend some training school because I would like to avoid middleman schools. Have you ever heard about Wallace School of Transport?
5.Is enough 3000 to do c+e ?

I suspect this might get moved to the newbies forum …

You need to pass initial LGV DCPC before any periodic DCPC training (35 hours) can count

I don`t think it will be a problem, as its where a lot of newbies get a start. Even youngsters

probably yes… so long as you don`t screw up & have to keep retaking tests, and pushing the cost up

Company called A-Class,brilliant & got me my class 2 & class 1. However,once you have a class 1 LGV 1 C+E,then the battle begins as you need 2 years experience to get a job & how do you get 2 years experience if you can’t get a job. It’s a mine field out there !
