Travelling p+o calais dover

browncow2:
sorry boys but can any one explain what a cmr is, i thought it ment for comunial movements of romainians

Hi browncow2,
The short answer to your question is that “a CMR” is a kind of delivery note used for international transport.

CMR stands for: Convention Marchandises par Route.

More info can be found :arrow_right: HERE

I hope that helps.

It is an international delivery note which must be used

came over yesterday P&O calais and only asked what i was transporting thou LD at Dover when going out ask for CMR or manifest

ermmmmmmmm wheelnut is that one you (er herm clears throat) forgot to fill in

As I recall a CMR is a LEGAL document. When used it passes ownership of the goods from supplier to customer. The concern of the driver is only on the actual transportation therefore the driver is NOT involved with loading or unloading.CMR also means"chauffeur must rest"!It always works in Europe,it was in Britain that you were expected to help load or unload and I would when on fridges if it was to my advantage, otherwise–not my problem!!

do you need a cmr to carry romanians, or t form?
