hi does anybody know the distance where you get paid if you have to move yard’s 10 mile’s comes to mind, as it look’s like we are moving soon ![]()
Personally its what you consider to be acceptable,as these days people commute what I would call ridiculous distances, but 30 miles is nothing these days as many chaps I used to work with travelled 30 miles one way every day.
Is there such a payment?.I’ve moved yards twice now with the same company. Each time a further commute. And at present I travel 130miles each way.Only twice a week mind you.But I only get a £46 a month payment for fuel. And I pretty sure that is’ nt compulsory for them to pay it out.
I live in Devon but work out of Birmingham. Only commute twice a month, but get no help from the company.
I would say £46 for 260 ain’t to bad.
18p a mile.
Yeah it does help. But I’m pretty sure they don’t have to pay anything. As they did’nt when we moved yards the 1st time.
