Maybe looking to buy a Atkinson borderer tractor unit and need some help getting it from the Forrest of Dean to Northumberland not sure if it will drive on to a vehicle so would be better assumed a non runner can anyone give a price for the job or recommend someone that can do this sort of work…

Try asking in the Old Time forum on Trucknet. I know a lot of the vintage owners read and post in that forum.
Also try having a look in the Classic & Vintage Commercials magazine. Plenty of people advertise their services in there. Failing that, is probably just going to be down to finding somebody with a low loader or stepframe and paying heavily for it!
Good luck in your search for an Atki! I used to own one but had to sell due to loss of storage and a change in family comitments. Given the chance, I’d get another tomorrow!
