Any ideas on the cheapest way to get a set of four of these back to Wiltshire from Glasgow?

Not sure but looking at the size and shape of them, I think you can rule out sending them via a pallet network.
Could you get two on one Chep ( or similar ) pallet?
If so use the local Palletline franchise in Glasgow
I used Law Freight in Haydock a few years ago when I was trading in the automotive battery industry and they charged me less than fifty quid plus VAT a pallet up to 1000Kg on a two day UK mainland service
You can move them with a flat trailer behind a 4x4. I’ve got a set but I have never really got on with them I prefer the fixed post ramp with a pit jack and can’t really understand how column lifts got so popular we mainly use them for anything too tall to drive inside.
try uship on e bay and let them bid for it.
I can’t open the link, I may be able to help.
Series 4 vehicle column lifts.

What happens if some person bids to move them and you never see them again, how do you guard against that? ![]()

Looks like the Knackered Navara will need to make a trip, had one price of £500 after haggling.

Snap his hand off. How much do you think it will cost you to do it? Factor in all the things a courier will like insurance, fuel, tyres, vehicle depreciation and of course YOUR loss of earnings for the day and 500 squid don’t sound too bad.
