Trans Pennine Run

Apologies if this subject has previously been posted as i am new to this Forum.

Here are a few pictures from this years Trans Pennine run which finishes on the Stray at Harrogate.

And finally the Stray at Harrogate is a bit soft after a few days of rain, so best not take anything too heavy onto it

Whoops

It wasn’t actually that bad. The Highway Recovery driver came on to the field like a nutter and got exactly what his style of driving deserved! I drove the Bowker Atki (seen in the backgound) onto the rally field without any problems!

He was certainly red faced when he was winched out by an old AEC!

highway pride themselves in having supported this event recoverywise for years…must have been embarrassing for them. :open_mouth:

This was the first vehicle on the scene to try and get Highway out of the mud. When this didn’t work, they called for an AEC!

is arthur green still going last time i seen that scania it had a creased roof      thats if its the same one
