Evening all I’m out tramping for the first time in a Renault that has a direct vision window in the door but no curtain for it ! What do other folk do iv tried blocking it with a coat but it just slides down do aftermarket blinds excist? Don’t like the idea of being peaked at !!
Can you put something in front of coat to stop from sliding down
I guess you won’t be beating the meat tonight for fear of being seen
My first idea would be to paint the window with something that can be semi permanent, (windowleen, spray paint, Window tint foil, even fake spray snow)
Wedged it with the spare trailer plate was just wondering if there was a more permanent fix was all
Black duct tape

A bit of cardboard m8 ? Says he who doesn’t even bother with his curtains
I am guessing I saw you last near kelham bridge ?
Radiator foil reflector, dirt cheap on ebay and easy to shape and wedge in the window. I used it on my MAN windows near the bed.
Pound world or whatever usually have car windscreen sunshades for about a pound. Cut and fit!

Yep that was me !
Some of the suggestions won’t allow for the need to see out the window while driving, especially if the truck needs to comply with FORS

Correct. And if you get an over-zealous traffic marshall who decides to audit the vehicle you’ll not be able to deliver the goods.
That’s a shame.
Had them in FL7, use to tape a bit of cardboard over it.
had them in an iveco eurotch, i just slept on the top bunk
If you’re using the vehicle on a regular basis how about putting pieces of adhesive backed Velcro above and bellow the window, put the other pieces of Velcro on a piece of material and you’ve got an easily removed curtain for when you need it.
Why would you tramp in something that don’t have curtains to cover all views from outside
