Hello I’m looking for a bit off advise I’m starting a new job with a different outfit tommorow and involves some tramping couple or so nights a week . I have been looking at getting myself a 24 l cool box for the foodstuff milk etc …now do I purchase a standard cool box or do I opt for a plug into the cig lighter job not sure help
Waeco Tropicool is what you want. They come in different sizes with 3 way power. Plenty on eBay much cheaper than any truckstop. I run the 21ltr, you won’t find better.
I would go for a plug in one personally, either aldi or lidls where doing them cheap a few weeks ago, the only thing you will need to check is that you have a 12 volt socket in your truck, some might be the hella type so will need an adaptor back to a cigar socket but they can be purchased from most msa’s 
I find odd socks, an old raincoat and a pram help, better if you can get hold of an old hiviz too
