I’ve always found I’ve had much more sleep tramping as I didn’t have to listen to my mrs nagging me, hogging the bed, snoring and just getting right on my nerves… 
were i work a well known welsh set up day and night drivers get paid a fixed rate for there shift if it be 8hrs long or 15 they get paid same amount each shift,now us trampers get paid by the hour and time and half after 8 and do the max each day (our choice) and we trampers get the meal allowance and mileage bonus so we double what the day/night drivers take home
