Training with Peter Smythe himself!

I’ve just been to the old welbeck colliery site , not far from Mansfield and one of your units was coming the other way a MAN I think it was , looked very tidy :sunglasses:
And to think a couple of years back you claimed no one wanted to learn with an artic
It was about 3 years ago I did my c +e with Chris , if I had to do it again I’d jump At the chance of doing it with that MAN or tAngerine dream .
I’d certainly recommend your training outfit to anyone !
All the best Mike

Times change - and it’s a fool who doesn’t change to keep up. With 3 artics on the road I think I may just be keeping up!

Thankyou. We put a lot of effort into keeping the fleet clean and tidy. Not so easy in this weather though.

I’d certainly recommend your training outfit to anyone !

Thankyou.

Pete

Oh and congratulations to Mrs Mac

Congrats MrsMac.

Im guessing (probably wrong) that i was speaking to your man at my work the other night about his Mrs training with PS. I was looking for him last night to see how you got on. Who would have thought id see it on here.

Well done!!!

Thanks Mikey D and H4L  Yes it was most likely my Hubby you spoke to, he drives for Hayton Coultards

MrsMac has introduced me to a new gastronomic delight: Scotch Dumplings. Never sampled these before. Anyone in Scotland feeling the urge to send us any, feel free!

Thanks MrsMac. My life is now complete!!

Hahahaha! So glad you enjoyed them Pete! They are delicious, Hubby adores them too
Theyre actually called ‘Clootie’ dumpling, Clootie is a Scottish word for cloth. The dumpling is steamed in a cloth when its cooked

Theres a very interesting place to visit if you’re ever up our way  Its called the ‘Clootie Well’ (not far from Tore on the black Isle) and is a natural spring which is said to be a ‘healing’ spring… Apparently you should soak a piece of cloth belonging to anyone who is suffering from illness in the spring water and tie it to the surrounding trees and as the cloth rots away, so does whatever it is that ‘ails you’ as they say  Its a strange place, and you’ll see what I mean if you ever visit it
